Hospice Magnet

Hospice of Siouxland

Hospice of Siouxland has several programs geared toward children who have experienced the death of a loved one. They needed to get this information to professionals who would have contact with these children. Makota Marketing suggested mailing a large 4" x 7" magnet to doctors and school counselors to educate them on the signs of childhood grief and the services provided by Hospice. Makota Marketing also provided t-shirts for their annual Camp Courage.

 
Rubida Popcorn Bag

Rubida Insurance

Although Rubida Insurance is located in a small town, they have lots of competition. When Makota Marketing presented them the opportunity to donate custom popcorn bags to the high school's concession stand, they jumped at the chance. During football season, up to 1000 popcorn bags are educating the community about Rubida Insurance and the special discounts they give to student drivers.

 

Sioux City Fire Department

October is Fire Prevention Month and fire departments around the country use this time to educate their communities. Makota Marketing provided the Sioux City Fire Department with 10,000 color-changing "mood" pencils to remind families to test their smoke alarms.

 

Center for Preventive Medicine

The Center for Preventive Medicine provides state-of-the art health screenings with the purpose of catching potential problems. They needed to build recognition of their services among the medical community as well as among the general public. Since they attend several medical conferences during the year, they wanted to give out items that would encourage referrals. Among other things, Makota Marketing suggested they use an imprinted pocket-sized hand sanitizing sprayer. This item would provide the recipient with CPM contact information while reminding them that prevention is the best policy concerning health care.
